    • 18. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Brush used for cleaning reusable manicure and pedicure tools was insanitary and in disrepair. Replace brush for washing tools.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Several pedicure bowls (foot bath) in the facility were still covered with the lining used previously on clients. Indicating that adequate cleaning of pedicure bowls was not being conducted.Remove all lining from the pedicure bowls. Clean and disinfect bowl surface. Pedicure bowls must be thoroughly washed and disinfected after each client.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • The following surfaces inside the facility were insanitary:- Surfaces of both sinks in the customer area was dirty with stains. - There was a spill under the customer washroom sink  - Customer toilet was unclean- Surfaces of floor around the reprocessing sinkThoroughly wash and disinfect these surfaces.

      • Surfaces including manicure tables, drawers, trolleys, UV light surfaces and chairs have a buildup of nail debris, dust and nail polish residue.Ensure that all work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and maintained in sanitary condition at all times.
