    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The flow meters for the jet pump and circulation pump are rated for SCH40 piping however they were installed in SCH80 piping. Review installation and make the necessary changed to ensure the flow meters are installed according to manufactures instructions. Accurate flow meters are necessary for measuring the maximum flow for anti-entrapment as well as to determine turnover of the whirlpool system.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Updated anti-entrapment compliance plans must be submitted once system is commissioned as new larger pumps have been installed on the circulation and jet system. Ensure copies are provided for review before final approval inspection can be booked.

      • The submerged suction outlets (main drains) for the jet system expired on May 1, 2024. Operator called their pool service provider and confirmed that they were original from when the pool basin was replaced. Instructed operator to turn off jet pump and keep it off until new covers are installed. Operator has booked service appointment with pool service provider to replace expired suction outlets. Notify undersigned when work is completed.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Anti-entrapment compliance plan must be updated once replacement suction outlets are installed. Forward updated copy upon receipt from pool service provider.
