      • There is food stored beside the prep sink. Food must be protected from contamination at all times. When using the prep sink the splashes may fall into the food therefore contaminating it. Install a splash guard.The operator attempted to install a splash guard during the inspection; however, the height was not sufficient enough to protect the food from contamination.

      • The back facility door was not equipped with weather stripping.Install weather stripping at the bottom of the back facility door to help prevent pests from entering the facility.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1. The wooden shelving unit by the staff office was observed to be unfinished.Please finish the wooden shelving unit to ensure the surfaces are smooth, easily cleanable, and impervious to moisture.2. There are several broken tiles throughout the kitchen area. The wall must be maintained in good repair to ensure proper cleaning and to prevent harboring of pests. Repair the wall tiles and ensure the surface is smooth, easily cleanable, and impervious to moisture.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The beer taps were soiled with grime and debris. Equipment must be maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. Service the beer taps, and ensure they are cleaned and sanitized prior to using.
