3 infractions
- Critical Improper Cleaning, Sanitizing of Equipment and Utensils
- Surface sanitizer spray bottles that are labelled "quats" were filled with a different all-purpose cleaner. This cleaning agent could pose chemical contamination risks to foods being prepared.
- Staff replenished the surface sanitizer bottles with designated quats solution - reading 200-400ppm. * Don't use this cleaner until you've verified that the cleaner is a food-grade sanitizer that can air-dry and leave no residue.
- Critical Improper Cleaning, Sanitizing of Equipment and Utensils
- Vegetable peeler had visible food accumulation. It was not immediately cleaned after end of service (yesterday). Not cleaning and sanitizing food equipment at a regular frequency can result in the survival of pathogens - leading to potential foodborne illness.
- Staff immediately removed the implement and moved it in line for dishwashing. * Frequently used food equipment must be cleaned every 2-4 hours and at end of service.
- Improper Sanitary Facilities
- Handwashing station was not equipped with cold running water. Having only hot water deters staff from completing proper handwashing due to uncomfortable temperature.
- Repair the sink so it can dispense cold running water. Comments Routine inspection conducted. Comments: Overall sanitation of the facility is satisfactory. Foods are brought over from the Currents Restaurant. Facility reopened last Tuesday (April 7, 2026) but was not opened during time of inspection. All cooler units registered at or below 4C. Glass ware washer registered 25ppm iodine residuals. Test strips were available to verify final rinse concentration. Permit to operate posted in a visible location.
