- Staff was observed consuming a meal on the bar counter next to the glasswasher. Please remind staff to consume meals in the staff area or on a dining table. Ensure staff wash hands before returning to work.

- Staff shoes were stored under the bar on top of bar mats and shoved inside a food inset container. Store staff items in the staff area.

- There were many fruit flies behind the bar. Please implement cleaning schedule and pest control measures.

- OUTSTANDING DEFICIENCES:1) Under the 2-compartment sink, in the dishwashing area, a tile against the wall and floor was loose where porous material was exposed. -Fix and repair to prevent moisture penetrating the wall and resulting mould growth. **Feb 17, 2023: baseboard tile had fallen off and no longer secured/2) In the dishwashing area, along the wall, gaps were observed between the wall panels. -Fix and repair to prevent any possible moisture from penetrating the porous material in the wall and resulting mould growth. 3) The ceiling tile in the soda storage area was in disrepair. -Fix and replace to prevent possible direct cross-contamination.

- 1) The dishwashing spray sink tap fixture was leaking. Please repair.2) There was a large crack/hole through the dishwashing spray sink/sink counter and water was leaking through onto the floor below. Please repair.3) The kitchen floor tiles in front of the back door were damaged/missing. Please repair.4) The baseboard at the top landing of the stairwell was no longer secured to the wall. Please repair.5) The ceiling tile above the upstairs staff eating area was badly water damaged due to a previous roof leak. Please replace the ceiling tile.6) Ceiling tiles in the upstairs utility room were badly water damaged in several areas. Please replace.7) Drainage pipe under the bar ice well was not aligned to the floor drain and water/liquid was accumulating under the bar. Please repair.8) The servery hand sink tap fixture was leaking. Please repair.

Please clean.3) There was a heavy buildup of grime, garbage mixture of soda syrup, alcohol, water, etc. under the bar. It is very likely this is contributing to the presence of fruit flies at the bar. Please thoroughly clean.
