    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The water temperature at the hot water faucet handwashing sink in caterpillar room was measured at maximum of 56 degrees C.The kid's hands are washed under staff supervision after mixing the water. Hot water warning can be posted at the indicated sink to ensure continuous supervision and care during handwashing.It is recommended to adjust the valves so that water temperature is maintained below maximum of 54 degrees C, with a strong recommendation that the temperature is a maximum of 49C at the hand sink accessed by children.
    • 23. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Critical)?
      • It was observed that in the butterfly room there was more than 3 cm (1.2 in) of space between the mattress and the bed frame, when the mattress is pushed flush to one corner of the crib.The crib was not in use at the time of inspection.Make sure that crib mattress is tightly fitting with the bedframe, space between the mattress and bedframe should be less than 3cm.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Some foam toys in teddy bear room were observed with bite marks.Those toys were removed during the inspection.Make sure to remove the toys with visible indentations from the kids play area.
