    • 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
      • Observation: Drain flies noted on walls in washrooms and dining area. Noted sticky traps by dough mixer station full of these flies. Minor population at this point and no real notable breeding opportunities found (maybe grease trap access??).
      • Lots of silverfish etc. on traps in furnace room. Monitor.
      • Corrective Action(s): Recommend treating all drains at the end of the day with hot water and chemicals (daily) to try and disrupt breeding. Have Pest Control replace sticky traps and monitor.

    • 302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation: Dishwasher not turning on properly and not engaging in a cycle. Not able to test.
      • Corrective Action(s): As temporary measure switch to manual three compartment sink method for dishwashing. Instruction signage left. Make sure that all three sinks have sink stoppers to allow proper filling and draining of the sinks. A follow up inspection will be conducted with date noted on report.

      • Observation: Mouse activity noted in premises. Droppings observed on floor in multiple areas, and droppings observed on some shelves and in some containers. Some expandable foam or similar insulation observed chewed.
      • Containers identified to staff. All contents in noted containers must be cleaned and sanitized.
      • Random poisons noted on floor in storage area.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize all primary and secondary work surfaces where mouse droppings observed. Clean floor of droppings.
      • Remove random poisons. Only certified pest control technician can apply pesticides in food premises.
      • Hire pest control professional to provide proper recommendations and targeted mouse control services.
