      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 4 cut jack fruits were stored in the reach in cooler. The internal temperature is recorded at 14.1C.
      • Facility does not have approval to conduct processing onsite.
      • Corrective Action(s): All 4 jack fruits were discarded at the time of inspection. Please ensure that cold potentially hazardous food is stored at a temperature of at least 4C or lower.
      • Contact your district EHO to obtain health approval prior to conducting food processing onsite.

      • Two sugarcane juicer machines were found onsite. Operator stated that both machines are not functioning properly. Any equipment that is not intended for facility operation must be stored offsite.
      • Corrective Action(s): Operator moved both machines off site at the time of inspection.

      • 2 onion bags and two boxes of food cans were stored on the floor. Storing food directly on the floor could potentially cause food contamination.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the food products are stored at least 6" off the floor. Operator removed the food products from floor and stored them on shelves at the time of inspection.

      • Observation: A sugarcane machine was stored in the back area. Operator stated that the machine is broken and is not being used during facility operation.

      • As discussed earlier, the store does not have Health approval to conduct food processing on site. If you wish to use the machine in future, please contact your district EHO to obtain Health approval.

      • Observation: 1) Flies were observed in the back area.
      • 2) Moderate amount of mouse droppings were found on the floor near "Dry Fruits" corner.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure that facility is kept free of pest and in sanitary condition. Remove the mouse droppings and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Wear proper PPE and gloves when handling mouse droppings. Contact your pest control company to ensure adequate measures are put in place for pest management.
