- The operator did not dilute the Barbicide according to the manufacturer's instructions. The operator was informed to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for proper dilution.
- 14. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Non-Critical)?
- Porous brushes were observed being disinfected using Clippercide only. The operator was instructed that porous brushes cannot be properly disinfected with aerosol spray disinfectants and must be cleaned using soap and water. Clippercide is intended for the disinfection and maintenance of electric hair clippers.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Non-critical items, including brushes, combs, and scissors, were soaked in Barbicide (DIN: 02245567); Clippercide: (DIN:02285754). However, the disinfectant solution had not been diluted in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Operator was instructed to follow manufacturer's instructions to prepare barbicide.
