      • Lash esthetician stated that reusable tools were being disinfected by:- Rinsing tools with water- Placing tools in CS20 for 20 seconds to 1 minute.Proper disinfection procedure was reviewed with staff. Proper procedure is:- Wash tools with soap/detergent and water- Rinse tools- Dry tools completely- Submerge in CS20 for 20 minutes

      • 2) No records exist for reuse of high-level disinfectant.3) No test strips for reuse of high-level disinfectant found.-When keeping HLD for more than one day, it must be tested and recorded each day it is used

      • **Carried from last inspection**The cabinet beneath the sink in teh lash room is in disrepair.-Repair or replace the cabinet

      • 1) Yellow liquid observed crystalized in disinfection jar.-Ensure disinfectants are changed as per manufacturer's instructions2) No records exist for reuse of high-level disinfectant.3) No test strips for reuse of high-level disinfectant found.-When keeping HLD for more than one day, it must be tested and recorded each day it is used4) Bottle of high-level disinfectant onsite was expired.-Obtain a new HLD before next client. Manager said they will have a new bottle brought over today5) Level of liquid in jar would not be enough to immerse the tools being used for lash work.-Fully immerse tools in HLD
