    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Hand washing sink was not accessible. Dirty dish bin was located on the top of the sink. All food containers were placed around the sink. The foods were removed during inspection onsite.Ensure hand sink is accessible for handwashing all the times.
    • 16. Does the social care facility have adequate lighting?
      • pre-school room -Sensor lights were out of order in the toilets. Light level was noted being unsatisfactory. Replace the lights and ensure the toilets are well lighted for cleaning and prevent any accidents.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • Dishwashing was noted being done in the handwashing sinks in the rooms. Dishes were noted in the sink during inspection onsite. Operator removed the dishes and stored them in the dish bin to transport to the kitchen for dishwashing. Ensure no dishwashing being done in the hand washing sinks. All dirty dishes must go to the kitchen to be wash and sanitized.

      • Pre-kinder room-There was not space between childrens bed during nap time. The beds were moved apart from each other at 60cm on each side during inspection onsite,

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Diaper changing tables were not equipped with safety belts throughout the facility. Ensure that every diaper change changing surface that is elevated above the ground has suitable safety belts. Facility operators were instructed to change diapers on the changing mats on the floor until the changing tables were equipped with safety belts.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • First aid kits throughout the facility had expired supplies such as alcohol swabs. Ensure first aid kits are fully stocked with non-expired supplies. Highly recommended to use a fillable supply checklist for all kits.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • A tire was observed in the toddler room. Remove the tire from the facility. Facility operators were advised the tires can be used in a well ventilated and outdoors area.
