      • Staff allowed patrons to dine with dog in the inside covered space that is sealed/enclosed. This is not an open air patio space when sealed. Dog was not a service dog.
      • Operator moved patrons to the outdoor patio space open to air when asked. Thank you. Comments Inspection generated to follow up with complaint dated 23-Mar-2026. Operator has signage outside for patrons that outline rules for dogs on the outdoor, open air patio space. Operator said he is knowledgeable about the provincial policy regarding dogs on patios. If intending to open curtains and unseal the space to allow dogs on the patio, also submit a sanitation plan for dogs on patios for review and approval. The health authority has not received a sanitation plan for the patio to date. Ensure to include in the plan, staff training, how to monitor the area, hand hygiene, clean up after dogs, number of dogs limit and other reasonable, preventative measures for this area.
