      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 50 PPM QUAT residual detected from the sanitizer spray bottle.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff refilled the spray bottle with the sanitizer in their sanitizer container - noted with 200 PPM QUAT residual.

      • Observation: 1. The back alleyway was filled with garbage and equipment/ furniture not required for the business.
      • 2. Large hole noted on the ceiling in the staff washroom.

Remove all garbage and items not required for the business from the back alleyway as this could be a potential breeding grounds for pests and will attract pests to your facility. This is also a potential fire hazard or fire concern. Please remove within the next 2 weeks or the fire department/ Surrey Bylaw will be contacted.

      • - Notify your pest control company about any new pest activity and implement appropriate control measures.

      • - Re-organize the area that could facilitate daily cleaning and monitoring of pest activity.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Dead moths observed in the container with a bag of brown sugar inside.
      • 2. Bottles of liquid hand soap were stored directly on top of bags of flour.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1. Operator discarded the brown sugar. Clean up the container of any dead moths.
      • 2. Chemical must be stored separately from food products. Move the liquid hand soap away to a different location away from food.
