      • Trickle Creek Farming - cookies were displayed without a sneeze guard. Vendor was instructed to remove the cookies from public display until food is protected from customer contamination.

      • Bee Avenue - vendor was preparing and providing samples from the booth. Hand washing station was not available or set up.Vendor stopped providing samples.

      • Trickle Creek Farming - vendor did not have a hand washing station set up and was handling food at the booth. Vendor was instructed to stop handling food until a hand washing station is set up.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • At time of inspection:1. Pyroghies Plus - did not have their hot-holding units up to proper temperature when inspection was being conducted. There was not enough hot water inside both hot-holding units. There were also no thermometers present inside any refrigeration units (i.e. coolers).2. Back of the Spoon - This facility did not have the hot-holding equipment up to temperature upon inspection.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. Ensure all high-risk foods (from both of these food vendors) are first brought up to 74c/165F or greater and then kept hot at 60c/140F or greater throughout the day.Both food vendors were made aware of what was required of them in order to operate.
    • 22. Is the temporary food establishment properly constructed, configured and maintained?
      • GENERALAt time of inspection:1. Various stallholders were not completely set-up so that inspection could occur. Some stallholders were still selling their products even though they were not fully set up. Be advised that all stallholders must be made aware that their set up must be completed at least one (1) hour prior to the event start time.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. Ensure all stallholders are made fully aware they must be fully set up at least one hour prior to start up time. Failure to ensure this for future events will result in immediate closure of the stall or as required by the acting Executive Officer of Alberta Health Services.
