      • There was no record of an illness logs which has been previously provided by this office When a child goes home due to illness or does not attend due to illness(and staff) this illness must be recorded on a chart that is accessible for review Also familiarize with the Outbreak Guide Chart and OB guide provided via email and discussed onsite

      • Preschool room has various soft floor coverings and would benefit in reducing a few as they are not easy to keep clean. There was an abundance of dirt under the liftable carpet tiles on the one side of the room. Please lift up all the carpet tiles and clean under these carpet tiles and highly recommend they be removed. If they remain the area beneath needs to be cleaned monthly.

      • April 23 The diapering area in toddler washroom: there was no paper towel available for sanitizing the surfaceThe owner brough some over from within the toddler room Diapering supplies must all be within the space so steps can be completed without having to leave the room. Please ensure opening check list are completed to ensure supplies are available where needed.

    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Last visit EHO noted 3x bingo dabbers that indicated toxic to children and advised owner to discard. These were back on the shelf. EHO instructed staff to toss into garage bin which was completed.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • The one end of the diapering belt was missing on the diaper change table within washroom toddler room. Replace the missing belt.March 27 outstanding
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • Toddler room: the diaper change area in the washroom had no bleach spray for sanitizing the diapering surface. The one in the room itself had only 1/4 sollution left( 10am ).Staff got instructed to get one and returned with a bottle of bleach spray for the diapering area. * A part of opening task and checks is filling a bucket of 100ppm bleach solution, dump all spray bottles and refill with fresh for the day. Each childcare room and each diapering area must be supplied. Ensure the bottles are labelled and functional.

      • 1. Diaper change pad in the large washroom was ripped Replace with a smooth and durable change pad 2. Baby room: The diaper change pad was very stained and had a flimsy cloth cover on itReplace with a change the pad that is smooth and durable, not perforated. No covers.March 27- 1 & 2 outstanding pads not replaced

      • Surfaces and finishes though out the facility were visibly dirty and not kept in sanitary conditions. Walls, doors, trim, floors.March 27- no improvement

      • 1. OSC room: visibly dirty white cloth couch. Provide a couch cover that is washable for the couch. March 27 outstanding2. OSC: Torn black couch. Toddler room: Torn foam cushion, cover partially off, on the floor. Discard. March 27 outstanding

      • The sleep mats had torn surfaces- noted in the pre kinder room top shelf replace with durable and easy to keep sleep mats or cots.March 27- all the sleep mats in the facility were inspected. Baby room sleep mats are folded into tied plastic bags and kept in the windowsill. These were removed and examined to be torn- must replace Toddler room sleep mats are folded into tied plastic bags and kept in the windowsill. These were removed and examined to be torn- must replace Preschool sleep mats were on a rolling cart covered in a sheet by the kitchen/hall. This sheet was removed. The sleep mats were under a state of extensive deterioration- must replace.All the sleep mats in the facility must be replaced with a mat or cot that is durable and easy to keep clean.
