      • A hand washing soap was not observed at the time of inspection. Please acquire a hand washing soap.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. A DIN or MDL was not observed on the product that is being used to disinfect clippers. The operator was noted to be using Cool Ice. Please acquire an intermediate level disinfectant with a DIN number, and claims for mycobacterium to disinfect clippers. Please note to maintain manufacturer's instructed contact time. 2. It was noted that the facility was using Mr. Clean (DIN 0233557), a low-level disinfectant with ten minutes contact time. A ten-minute contact time was not being maintained. Please be advised that low level disinfectant can be used to disinfectant work surfaces and non-critical equipment. Please ensure to follow manufacturer's instructed contact time. Please be advised that all surfaces must remain wet for at least ten minutes to achieve manufacturer's instructed contact time.
