- Corrective Action(s): Items removed. Please ensure that all handwash stations are accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel. Please also ensure that liquid soap and paper towels are loaded into the proper dispensers by each handwash station.

- Observation: 5 (each flat container 20 eggs) flats and 4 purple salted duck eggs (total 104 eggs) were observed in the display cooler at 4 degrees C in the store retail section. As per the Manager, the eggs are purchased from Better Value Eggs (invoice provided, dated for July 10, 2025 - picture taked). No address of the processing facility or food premises were noted on the invoice, only the company's phone number. This same incidence was noted previously in January 2023. Facility cannot be verified as an approved source at this time. Photographs were taken of the eggs. Invoice indicated 40 flats of salted eggs were obtained from Better Value Eggs Ltd.
- Corrective Action(s): Based on the information available, the above-noted purple salted duck eggs are potentially from an unapproved source. These 104 purple salted duck eggs are hereby held by Fraser Health. Fraser Health hold tags stating "This product is hereby placed under detention under the authority of the Health Act and shall not be sold or removed from the premises without prior authorization of the Public Health Inspector" were attached to both cardboard boxes containing the 104 salted purple duck eggs. Public Health Action Correction Order under Section 31 of the Public Health Act was served. Ensure to comply with all of the conditions of the Public Health Act Correction Order.
- Once Fraser Health can verify that the purple salted duck eggs are from an approved source then they may be place off hold and continue to be sold. At this time, operator cannot sell the eggs until this is verified.

- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Operations Manager of Hen Long Market called the supplier Better Value Eggs to inquire about the address of the processing location of the salted duck eggs that were supplied to Hen Long Market with invoice dated December 16, 2022. After speaking with the supplier over phone, the Operations Manager of Hen Long Market informed that the salted duck eggs were processed and supplied from the supplier's business address at 112 11538 132A Street Surrey B.C. The food premises located at 112 11538 132A Street Surrey B.C is an unapproved source. The 495 salted duck eggs, previously placed on hold by Fraser Health, at the food premises are now confirmed to be from an unapproved source.
- Corrective Action(s): Ensure food (including the salted duck eggs) on this food premises, Hen Long Market, that is sold, offered for sale, or distributed to the public is obtained from approved sources in accordance with Section 11 of the Food Premises Regulation (B.C. Reg. 210/99). 495 salted duck eggs confirmed to be from an unapproved source (Better Value Eggs located at 112 11538 132A Street Surrey B.C) were discarded by staff into the organics disposal bin during the inspection.
