- Dirty reusable equipment was observed in the reprocessing area on the sink counter.Operator discussed that some of this equipment will no longer be used.Any reusable equipment that can no longer be cleaned and disinfected must be discarded.if equipment has to be reused store it in a way that it's easier to clean afterwards.Note: A dirty equipment can be stored in a separate container labelled as "Dirty tools only".

- HLD logs were not being maintained.If the HLD is to be reused for 14 days after pouring in the container, make sure to test it every day (when working) and keep the logs.If the HLD is discarded after each use, log maintenance is not required.

- The operator does not have written procedures for:- The cleansing of skin and mucous membrane (for services that contacts mucous membrane, breaks skin, or may break skin). This includes for manicures, pedicures, and waxing.- The decontamination of any sink that will be used for both handwashing and equipment reprocessing.- Client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or puncture.Corrective Action:- Please ensure you have these written procedures.- The AHS written procedure templates were provided.
