    • 06. Are appropriate food handling practices and plans in place to ensure that food is handled in a manner that makes it safe to eat?
      • *Ongoing Violation*All temperature logs are showing the same numbers everyday yet inspectors temperature checks vary significantly due to inaccurate temperature dial on the outside of the unit. Record log is also missing entries resulting in lack of consistency.- Ensure staff are verifying the temperature with a thermometer inside the cooler or acquire a infrared thermometer to check temperatures of coolers and freezers.- Ensure staff are trained on this and check when they need to according to the schedule on the sheet.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Dishwasher was in disrepair and not operational.- Please ensure to get the necessary dishwasher repairs done.- Operator was advised to manually dishwash utensils using the 2-comp sink available adjacent to the dishwasher.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • *Ongoing Violation*No pest control records available. Pest control is managed by the operator and will be sent a pest control checklist to complete and keep onsite for recordkeeping.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The wooden cabinet besides the dishwasher was water damaged and splintered. - Please refinish the cabinet to ensure surfaces are smooth, cleanable and resistant to moisture.
