- Fail to provide information about any risks associated with invasive procedure to clients. Operator/PSW must provide information about any risks associated with invasive procedure.
- For tattooing, microblading and micropigmentation, after care instructions may include, but is not limited to: Direction to clean hands immediately before touching the site; expected healing time of the site; a description of possible complications and their signs and symptoms; advice on how to deal with slight redness, pain or swelling; a recommendation to consult with a physician within 24 hours if any signs of infection develop following the procedure; cover the tattoo with a single-use dressing intended to cover wounds; ointment may be applied to help prevent infection.
