      • Chemicals are stored in the laundry room/staff bathroom floor. The room is not locked and can be accessible to children.Please install a lock so children cannot access the room.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Infant room: There was a ziploc bag of contents (glitter+water). There was a concern that the bag is not completely sealed and can leak or be opened by an infant.Staff removed the item during the inspection.
    • 05. Are communicable diseases at this facility being properly managed?
      • 1000 ppm chlorine sanitizer is required when cleaning up bodily fluids and also during outbreaks.Please ensure staff know how to make 1000 ppm chlorine and have test strips available onsite.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Brown residue noted on the sides of the diapering table. Staff wiped the surface with a disinfectant at the time of inspection.Please ensure staff are thoroughly cleaning surfaces to prevent any cross contamination.

      • Cubies in the hallway were not secured. - Secure cubies to prevent falling onto children. A changing mat was not secured to prevent falling.- Secure the changing mat to the surface.

      • There was a gap around the mop sink. - Ensure that walls around the mop sink are moisture resistant and easy to clean.
