      • Handwashing sink in the kitchen area was blocked by the garbage can.Concerns were discussed and addressed during the inspection.Always ensure that handwashing is accessible, as and when required.

      • Dust was observed on coffee machines placed on the counters in the outside reception area.Ensure to clean the indicated coffee machines and surrounding counter surfaces.

      • The chemical dishwasher was not dispensing any chlorine to sanitize. Please repair. Until the dishwasher is repaired, please perform manual sanitizing using the sink.

      • Mice droppings were observed underneath the dishwasher and on the floor beneath the dry storage racks.Please ensure the following: - Continue to contract the services of a licensed pest control company to address the rodent issue.- Conduct a thorough assessment of the facility to determine pest entry points. - Discard any affected items that cannot be disinfected. - Conduct a thorough deep cleaning and disinfect the kitchen using a 1000 ppm bleach solution. Rinse the food contact surfaces with water after.

      • The dry storage area is cluttered, with multiple items stored directly on the floor, and several hard‑to‑reach areas are visibly dirty. Please organize the space and clean/sanitize thoroughly. Ensure that no items are stored on the floor to maintain proper sanitation and allow for effective inspection.

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and a mask, to minimize exposure to potential contaminants. Locate any holes and gaps and fill them with steel wool, then seal them to prevent the entry of unwanted pests. Please monitor the pest activity and adjust the frequency of treatment accordingly.

The operator was instructed to move all the cream and milks into the walk-in cooler.

      • The mechanical low temperature dishwasher was tested using a chlorine test strip and measured at 0 ppm. The sanitizer lines were primed, and the machine was retested with the same result of 0 ppm.Please repair the mechanical dishwasher, ensuring it sanitizes dishes at the concentration of 100 ppm. The operator was instructed to use the three-compartment sink dishwashing method in the meantime.

      • 1. The hand wash sink is not working properly. There is not proper flow of water and it is not hot enough.2. The hand wash sink is unclean and heavily stained.1. Please ensure the sink is fixed so that it is working properly. There must be a consistent smooth flow of water with enough pressure and there must be hot and cold running water. 2. Please clean the sink and maintain it in a state of good repair.

      • There is an unclean piece of cardboard lining the floor of the walk-in freezer.Please remove the carboard immediately as it cannot be clean and disinfected properly.
