- The QUATs spray bottles throughout the facility were strong (>400 ppm) and diluted during the inspection. As per the manufacturers instructions, mix 4 ml per litre of water for a food grade solution.Discussed switching to plain bleach and water (1/2 teaspoon per litre of water). Ensure test strips are available for your sanitizer of choice.

- Employees were not washing hands between changing gloves - discussed hand hygiene & glove use with managers and staff. Glove use is not required unless the food handling has a cut or is wearing a bandage.

- Inspector inquired about dishwashing procedure with staff who did not indicate a sanitize step was occurring in their 3-compartment sink. Inspector explained the requirement for a sanitize step to employee and management. Posters will be emailed to be displayed at the sinks.

- The scoop in the ice machine had a build-up of mould on it.Operator immediately removed it and put it with the dishes to be cleaned.
