      • 1) According to the tag on the fire suppression system, the last maintenance was in 2020. Please ensure fire suppression servicing is up to date.2) There is no record of ventilation hood cleaning. Ensure ventilation hood is professionally cleaned at least annually.

    • 02. Is all food in this facility from an approved source and/or properly labelled?
      • 1) A jar of home-canned food containing garlic marked "September 20/25 with red pepper" was observed in the kitchen. The cook said someone had brought it from home to eat with their meals.The cook also admitted allowing an employee to store wild deer meat in the freezer temporarily until the employee went on holiday.Please note, food from uninspected sources is not allowed in the kitchen. If staff wish to have unapproved foods or food from home, they must keep it in their possession.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • 1) Facility does not have a valid food handling permit. Please apply for a food handling permit immediately.
