      • There were no written procedures available at the time of inspection for decontamination of the washroom sink used for reprocessing makeup brushes. Education was provided.

      • There were no written procedures for the business at the time of inspection. Education was provided.
    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • Operator indicated that handwashing is done before and after each client using soap and single use paper towel as required. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer is also used as an additional measure.Alcohol based hand sanitizer in use was expired. Discard the expired sanitizer and replace with hand sanitizer that is within the expiry date and meets approved specifications (60-90% alcohol content with DIN or NPN number)

      • Single use items such as disposable applicators and sponges are discarded after use. Makeup brushes are cleaned until the water runs clear and once visibly clean, are treated with 70% isopropyl alcohol.The 70% isopropyl alcohol in use expired in 2025.Ensure the isopropyl alcohol is regularly checked for expiry.
