    • 03. Is all food in this facility fit for human consumption and not unwholesome, spoiled, or adulterated?
      • Coffee creamer that is meant to be refrigerated was observed to be stored in the dry storage room with a best before date of April 2025. Operator discarded food items during the inspection. 1. All high-risk food items that are meant to be stored under refrigeration must be stored at a temperature of 4 degrees C or lower to prevent bacterial growth. 2. All food items meant for human consumption must be kept in wholesome condition. Food items that are not fit for human consumption shall not be stored or made available in a food facility.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Adequate temperatures were not being maintained in the following area:1. Coldstream sliding glass door refrigerator in the dining room labeled #2 was measured at 17 degrees CFood items were probed with a thermometer and measured at 17 degrees C. All high-risk food items were discarded by the operator during the inspection. Food items stored in cold holding units must be maintained at a temperature of 4 degrees C or lower. THE ABOVE NOTED COOLER UNIT MUST NOT BE USED FOR FOOD STORAGE UNTIL IT IS SERVICED. Investigate the issue and ensure the affected refrigerator is serviced as required.

      • Expired chlorine test strips were observed in the kitchen (Expired in October 2024). Testingequipment must be available for staff to verify concentrations of sanitizing solutions used for surfaces and dishwashing at this facility.**Update (January 22, 2025): New test strips are still not available for use in the kitchen Ensure that new chlorine test strips are obtained.

      • Old Food Handling Permit with the previous owner/agent was observed to be posted on the fridge in the kitchen. Ensure that the new Food Handling Permit is posted in a conspicuous place to reflect the ownership change.
