- Semi-critical equipment (Facial extractor) is not being adequately disinfected. Ensure semi-critical tools must be cleaned and disinfected using, at a minimum, a high-level disinfectant is acquired.The operator was advised to stop the services employing facial extractors until a high-level disinfectant.As discussed, the operator will not re-use the high-level disinfectant for 14 days. The disinfectant will be dumped after each use.
