    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Two unlabeled spray bottles were observed at the diapering area. Staff on duty indicated one of the bottles contained bleach solution and the other contained water to aid clean up during diapering. Upon further investigation PHI determined both containers held bleach solution.**Ensure all containers holding chemicals and other fluids are properly labeled to identify their contents.-The operator labeled the bottles during the inspection.

      • The anti-slip floor covering in the washroom is made up of material that absorbent to moisture and not easily cleanable.**Please ensure the floor coverings in the washroom are made of materials that are impervious to moisture and easy to clean,

      • The garbage can in the Toddler room was open and the contents accessible to clients.**Ensure the garbage cans are properly covered at all times.The operator covered the garbage can during the inspection.

      • Personal items such as jackets on the coat rails were observed to be in contact.**Ensure personal items are stored in a manner that provides adequate separation from each other.
