      • Corrective Action(s): All cooking utensils including the large pots must be sanitized and air dried after. Donot use cloth or paper towel to dry the dishes or utensils. Large pots that can't be manually warewashed in warewashing sinks, must also be sanitized and air dried. Please provide a written plan for steps of manual warewashing of the large pots

      • - Handsink near three compartment sink has broken hot water knob of the faucet, no hot water is available at the handsink
      • Corrective Action(s): - Install a paper towel dispenser in the washroom. Meanwhile place a roll of paper towel that is available for staff to use.
      • - Repair the hot water knob of the handsink faucet. Ensure that running hot and cold water is available at the handsink, meanwhile use the three compertment sink for handwash

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer for food contact surfaces was not available at the time of inspection. Ostra (Quat-based) is normally used.
      • Corrective Action(s): Prepare 100-200 ppm bleach sanitizer to use until more Ostro can be obtained. This can be prepared by mixing 1/2 teaspoon (1/2 cap) of household bleach per 1L water.

    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: Hand washing station handles are broken. Staff are turning the water on and off using the valves under the sink.
      • Corrective Action(s): Repair hand washing station handles. Correct as soon as possible.
