    • Approved disinfectants are prepared and used appropriately, and records maintained
      • Fail to fully immerse items in the disinfectant for the appropriate contact time. Operator/PSW must fully immerse items in the disinfectant for the appropriate contact time.
    • All reusable items and/or equipment cleaned and then disinfected or sterilized as applicable
      • Fail to provide and use an appropriate level disinfectant to disinfect reusable items and/or equipment. Operator/PSW must provide and use an appropriate level disinfectant to disinfect reusable items and/or equipment.
      • Operator/PSW must follow the proper cleaning and disinfection or sterilization procedure as per the “Cleaning, Disinfection & Sterilization Flowchart” provided by the health department.
