- Ownership of the facility changed in March 2026. The current operator submitted an application for a food handling permit to Alberta Health Services last week. Documentation was provided to the PHI demonstrating that AHS has received the permit application and that the permit request is currently under review and being processed.

- The sanitizer bucket located at the front measured 50ppm quats. A new sanitizer solution was prepared immediately measuring 200ppm quats.

- Tomato soup and tomato paste was observed to be stored in its original cans after opening. The soup and paste were transferred to food grade containers upon request. Ensure food items are transferred out of their original cans after opening to prevent leaching.

- May 13 UpdatePest Control Records were not available. Monthly pest control monitoring and recording required. Previous Findings:- No pest activity observed.- Pest control monitoring is carried out by Western Alberta Structural Pest (WASP) Services Ltd., but they do not come in every month. The last inspection was in March 2023.- The operator has been advised to maintain regular monthly pest control records, which are a mandatory requirement for food regulation compliance. A copy of the AHS pest control checklist will be sent to the operator to facilitate their own monitoring.
