    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Lysol wipes were about to be used on a food contact surface.Lysol wipes are not food grade. Do not use them on food contact surfaces.Clean food contact surfaces first with soap and water, followed by a food grade sanitizer (eg 100 ppm bleach).
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1. The hot water tap on the dishwashing sink is broken and dripping.Repair or replace the tap.2. There was evidence of a water leak in the ceiling above the line cooler. The line cooler was not in use at the time of inspection. Three large buckets were present to catch any drips.Determine the source of the water leak and repair as necessary.All water damaged materials must be removed and replaced with building materials in good condition.3. The ventilation hood sticker indicated the unit was due for servicing in June 2023.Ensure the ventilation system is serviced.
