      • Minor pest activity noted in the back of the facility beneath the dishwashing sink. Continue to work with the contracted pest control company to help eliminate pest activity in the facility.

      • No QUAT test strips are observed. Ensure QUAT test strips are acquired.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • 1. Several mouse droppings are observed beneath the back food preparation counter. 2. Two holes in the wall were observed beneath the back food prep counter where pests may potentially enter. 1. Ensure that the indicated mouse droppings are cleaned. 2. Ensure that the indicated holes are sealed to help prevent pests from entering.

      • No thermometer is observed in the upright "True" cooler in the back food prep area. Ensure that the indicated cooler is equipped with a thermometer.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • No QUAT test strips are observed. Ensure QUAT test strips are acquired.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Access to the back handwashing sink was observed to be blocked with plastic crates and single-use food packaging. Ensure all handwashing sinks are easily accessible at all times. The operator provided access to the indicated handwashing sink during the inspection.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?

      • The designated ice scoop storage container is observed with a buildup of grime. Ensure that the indicated container is kept clean. The operator cleaned and sanitized the ice scoop and provided a new container for the ice scoop during the inspection.

      • Used cleaning cloths were being stored inside a bucket containing detergent. All used, soiled cleaning cloths are to be immersed in an approved sanitizer when not in use.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • A soiled cup was found inside the hand sink. Nothing is to be stored inside the hand sink.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The front display cooler is out of order. No perishable foods are to be stored in this display cooler until it is repaired and can maintain 4C or below.
