      • 2024-12-17Several clear containers of various unlabeled spices were observed onsite. The operator stated the spices were from a store close by but was unable to provide proof of purchase. ACTION REQUIRED: Discard all products that do not have receipts/proof of purchase. Ensure all retailed food products are labelled in accordance with CFIA labeling requirements. __________________________2022-02-09Noted September 22, 2023: Bags of "coffee beans" without labels were found on the store shelves. These items are to be removed from the shelves until the required labels are obtained and placed on the bags (labels must indicate the name of the product, as well as the source/company from where they are obtained and/or sold from).Noted September 19, 2023: containers and bags of re-packaged dried goods remain on the store shelves. The facility was retailing expired meal replacement products. Four bottles of Glucerna had an expiry date of December 1, 2024.ACTION REQUIRED: discard all expired products.  3. The facility was not rotating foods in a satisfactory manner. Several foods on the south retail shelf were far past the best before dates such as a bottle of Kraft salad dressing with a best before date of March 7, 2022.ACTION REQUIRED: Monitor food best before dates and increase rotation of foods.

Follow the directions of the licensed pest control technician and obtain a contract for regular (monthly at minimum) services. Keep service reports available for review. Clean up all mouse droppings in the facility.
