      • Written procedures for skin cleansing, antiseptic application, in an event of accidental cut or puncture and sink decontamination were not available during the inspection.-Please provide the indicated written procedures.
    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • Single-use gloves and alcohol-based hand sanitizer were not available during the inspection.-Please provide the indicated items to ensure proper hand hygiene practices.-Also, ensure the hand sanitizer has above 60% alcohol content and Natural Product Number (NPN) given by Health Canada.
    • 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
      • Expired antiseptic wipes were observed onsite.-Please provide new antiseptic alcohol wipes to ensure proper antiseptic application procedures.
    • 25. Are the equipment manufacturer's instructions for use of specific equipment available and followed?
      • Operating manual for Sapphire laser machine was not available during the inspection.-Please provide the indicated machine manufacturer's instructions for use.
