- Chemical stored inside a Mr. clean bottle is used on food contact surfaces with no matching test strips. Staff onsite noted that it was not Mr. Clean all purpose cleaner, but a chemical they could not identify. The approved sanitizer requirements were discussed with staff onsite. In the meantime, staff was requested to utilize bleach sanitizer of 100ppm, pending identification of the chemical previously used. 1. Submit to PHI the "unknown" chemical name and drug identification number for review. 2. Ensure all chemicals onsite are labelled with the respective content, and staff are aware of the chemical intended use.
