      • The stairs to the basement do not have a handrail at appropriate height for children to grasp to prevent tripping and falling up and down the stairs..*** Please install a handrail at the appropriate height for children. ***

      • The facility has an abundance of stuff that is not regularly used and is causing clutter.*** Please de-clutter the facility. Please keep only items that are regularly used and in a supply that can be safely and adequate stored in the storage rooms/closets and cupboards within the facility.

    • 02. Are animals being properly managed in this social care facility?
      • A proper cage for the guineapig needs to be purchased or built. The case should be designed to keep the majority of the waste and food materials in the cage. The cage should have solid walls on the sides and bottom to prevent materials from falling on the floor. The cage should be on a stand at least 1 foot of the floor so that you can clean under the cage easily. We will complete the paper work on the prohibited animals. The conditions will include measures where children can handle the animals in the presence of a supervisor and then follow the designated hand washing procedures One child per day handling the animals
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The premises has a lot of toys and it is hard to manage all these toys. A building is only so big and eventually gets full of toys. It is essential to clean house and downsize the number of toys you keep the premises organized. New toys are purchased frequently, and it is necessary to clear some of the older toys out so that cleaning and storage can be properly done.
