- The required written procedures were not observed. The AHS written procedures templates were adopted by the operator during inspection.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- - High level disinfectant test strips for preempt CS20 in use at the facility were not observed. Please obtain high-level disinfectant test strips.- High level disinfectant testing log sheets were not observed. A copy of the log sheet was given to the operator during inspection. Maintain a testing log-sheet for high-level disinfectant used at the facility. Poured high-level disinfectant must be tested each day used and solution discarded according to the manufacturer's instructions or when the testing fails.

- Absorbent beddings placed on the client's bed was being re-used. The staff was advised to ensure all beddings are changed in-between clients. The non-absorbent bed must also be disinfected after each client.
