      • Outstanding - 4/8/2026A section of weatherstripping was missing underneath the outside door directly adjacent to the walk-in cooler. Repair weatherstripping.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Steel shelves stored in the walk-in cooler were observed to be rusted. Rusted shelving surfaces are difficult to clean and sanitize and may flake or deteriorate over time.**Please look to replace shelving with rust-resistant, non-porous, food-grade materials that are smooth and easy to clean.

      • The most recent bacteriological water sample was submitted in January 2024. The conditions of your food handling permit require submitting monthly bacteriological water samples. A bacteriological water sample was taken during this inspection and submitted on your behalf. Ensure that a water sample is submitted at least once per month to verify the potibility of water used in this facility.

      • One of the plastic cutting board surfaces used on a prep table in the meat cutting area was observed to be significantly discoloured. Thoroughly scour, clean and sanitize this surface to make it sanitary for food handling.
