- Discussion on pool standards requirement for operating at a turnover period of 8 hours. Chemical parameters and bacteriological sampling must be in compliance with the pool standards at all times. Nova will verify maximum flow rate for covers as she stated that covers may have a maximum flow rate of 45 GPM. Minimum flow rate has to be at 50 GPM. Review and adjust system flow rates, equipment capacity, and/or operating conditions as necessary to achieve compliance with the Pool Standards.

- A life buoy, reaching pole, and emergency telephone were available at the time of inspection. The emergency telephone was located within a break-glass enclosure and functionality could not be verified during the inspection. Emergency equipment is required to facilitate a prompt response during an emergency.Ensure all emergency equipment is maintained in good working order and readily accessible for use during emergencies.

- Rust was observed on both sides of the pool. Dust accumulation was observed on both sides of the pool and within the pool basin, and debris was also present within the pool basin. The pool was not maintained in a state of repair and cleanliness that supports the safe and sanitary operation of the facility.Ensure the pool is maintained in a clean and good state of repair. Remove dust and debris from the basin and repair or address rusted surfaces to support the safe and sanitary operation of the pool.

Obstructions within the skimmer basket can restrict water flow through the skimming system and reduce the effectiveness of surface water circulation and debris removal.Ensure skimmer baskets are inspected and cleaned regularly and kept free of obstructions to maximize surface water recirculation and maintain effective pool circulation.

However, records indicated that total alkalinity was being tested approximately once per month rather than at least weekly, as required to adequately monitor pool water chemistry and ensure water quality is maintained.Ensure all required water quality parameters, including total alkalinity, are tested and recorded at the required frequency to adequately monitor and maintain pool water quality.
