- *Perishable food products were improperly stored in staff room. A plate of pizza, container of fries, and bowls of cream of wheat, were left at room temperature. Containers of hard-boiled eggs, omelets, and chicken wings were placed on ice, however, the amount of ice was noted to be inadequate. It was discussed with management that perishable food items must be kept cold at 4°C or below, or hot at 60°C or above. Changes storage practice. Managers indicated that additional ice would be used to ensure containers were surrounded by ice or food items would be stored in the refrigerator.

- *Used tea bags were found in the hand washing station. Remove and ensure hand washing station is kept cleaned and free of obstruction. Corrected: tea bags were removed.

- *A buildup of sticky residue was observed on the juice machine nozzles, along with visible dust and debris in the hard-to-clean areas behind the nozzles. Clean nozzles/hard to reach areas and add to cleaning schedule

- *Dried on food debris found in a container used to store clean lids and a drawer for clean food storage containers. Clean out areas. Ensure areas used to store clean equipment are kept cleaned. Corrected: container moved to dishwashing and staff instructed to clean area.

- *Hand washing supplies not available at hand sink in the front service area next to beverage station. Ensure hand washing sink is equipped with supplies (e.g. soap and paper towels).

- *Mould like substance was present on the caulking material located on the wall at the dishwashing area. Replace caulking.

- *Debris were found inside equipment/utensil storage containers located on prep table outside walk in cooler and freezer. Clean out containers and ensure clean equipment/utensils are properly stored. Corrected on site: equipment/utensils and containers were all removed and placed into dishwashing.

- Some beef products were observed to be unlabeled. Product name/ stamp/ expiry date was not observed on the ground beef. Please ensure good product rotation is in place. Foods were not labelled to indicate their source. A commercial food establishment must obtain all food that is liable under law to inspection by a regulatory agency from a source that is subject to inspection by that agency.

- *Liquid whole egg with a best before date of June 7,2023 was observed (approx. 11 cartons) in the freezer in the dry storage area. Ensure all food product is consumed/used within the expiration/best before date.

- *Juice jugs were observed to be stained and some were observed to be in disrepair/ heavy stained. Ensure all containers/food storage bins are in good condition and are easily cleanable. This was corrected during inspection.
