      • In Early Years 2, several paints were labelled to be for ages 4 plus. Please ensure paints are age-appropriate for the given room. The operator removed the indicated paint during the inspection.

      • Several bingo dabbers labeled "keep out of reach of children" were observed in OSC 1. Please ensure no products labelled "keep out of reach of children" are within reach of children. The operator discarded the indicated dabbers during the inspection.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • In Early Years 3, a water-stained ceiling tile was observed above the hanging wooden branch. Please ensure the indicated ceiling tile is replaced and continue to monitor for potential moisture infiltration.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • In Early Years 1, the first aid kit bag and supplies within were observed to be soaked with water. Please ensure the water damaged first aid kit supplies are replaced as necessary.

      • The light above the toilets in the women's washroom near the library was observed to be burnt out. Please ensure the indicated light bulb is replaced to help facilitate effective cleaning and disinfection of the indicated space.

      • The faucet button on the handwashing sink closest to the entrance in the washroom located near Studio 2 was observed to be missing.Please ensure the indicated handwashing sink button is repaired.

      • 2026-07-02: 1. The hot water temperatures at the handwashing sinks in the washroom for Early Years 1 were measured between 57.5 to 57.8 degrees Celsius. 2. The hot water temperature at the handwashing sink in the Early Years 2 room was measured at 57.9 degrees Celsius. 3. The hot water temperature at the small handwashing sink in Early Years 3 was measured at 59.2 degrees Celsius. 1-3. Please ensure hot water temperatures are adjusted to be less than 54 degrees Celsius. The recommended maximum is 49 degrees Celsius. 2024-11-18: Maximum water temperature at the sinks in the OSC 1 and Toddler rooms were measured at 50C. Please have this lowered to 49C or lower, 43C is recommended.

      • The cover behind/around the sink in the OSC 1 room is in disrepair. Staff are aware of the issue and it will be repaired soon.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • Maximum water temperature at the sinks in the OSC 1 and Toddler rooms were measured at 50C. Please have this lowered to 49C or lower, 43C is recommended.

      • Gym washrooms were missing soap - replaced at time of inspection. Ensure soap and paper towel is available at hand sinks.

    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Paper towel and soap were missing at the toddler/preschool washroom sinks and pre-kinder room. Paper towel and soap were replenished at time of inspection.Observed children washing hands at hand sink within rooms.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • Toys were noted to be in disrepair and removed from the children's use at time of inspection (large soft dice).*Please also ensure all slides within rooms are placed on soft mats around all of slide area and opening. Please ensure that all damaged toys are removed and toys are checked regularly to be in good repair.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • One of the out of school care washrooms (school) was not in use due to the hand sink not draining. The pre-kinder child size sink had a slow drain and the bathroom had a slow drip.Please have the plumbing checked to ensure proper operation.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Sleeping mats were noted to be torn in toddler room.*Please ensure that all sleeping mats are inspected regularly. Replace or repair damaged sleeping mats.
