Repair hole. In accordance with Section 4.3.1 of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code, you must immediately treat the presence of pests by inspecting and discarding any adulterated food. Observed mouse droppings. Thoroughly clean and sanitize areas where mouse droppings are seen.

      • Observed a fridge holding hazardous foods at a temperature of 4C or higher. Repair refrigerator so it can maintain a temperature of 4C or lower. Do not store hazardous foods in this refrigerator until it can maintain a temperature of 4C or lower.
    • 33(1) An operator must ensure that the temperature of food is controlled so that the food does not deteriorate or become inedible or unsafe.
      • Observed hazardous foods being stored at a temperature of 4C or higher. These foods were moved to another refrigeration unit that was maintaining a temperature of 4C or lower.
