Basha Donair & Shawarma

The food was not only delicious, but the portions were also a great size! We ordered the Beef Shawarma Wrap combo and the Donair Poutine, and we all really enjoyed them. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We also got to meet the owner — he was very kind and patient in sharing about the restaurant. Thank you for the yummy Mother’s Day treat! We will definitely be back again soon!

Delicious food, wonderful service, super friendly staff and a great sit-in environment too! Darren, the owner was so friendly and awesome, even offered us one of their drool worthy mini carrot cakes for us to share and enjoy! Will definitely be back! I’ve eaten here twice and both visits were a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, but what really stood out was the service. Jennifer and Carey were both friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure everything was right and created a very comfortable atmosphere. It’s rare to get service that feels both professional and warm at the same time. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and excellent customer service.

Tried this place for the first time today! We got donair combos & they were delicious. The meat was juicy and flavourful, the sauces were on point and the fries were amazingly crisp and salty 🤤

Food was unreal, got the chicken shawarma and the house made sauces and fresh ingredients were phenomenal. The owner is also a beauty highly recommend. He is very passionate about the place and you can tell.

I go to this wonderful restaurant as much as I can as I live north and can’t get there often. It definitely is my go-to when I’m in Kelowna. The word to describe this restaurant is Yum!! The staff are very pleasant and the food is delicious. One bite will tell you that the food is high quality and the taste comes through with every delightful bite. They do so much more for you; they are service oriented in a world where that is hard to find. Love this restaurant!

I ordered a couple of burgers to go and was really disappointed with the quality of the frozen patties. They have that odd texture of some type of filler. On top of that, they had no flavour and absolutely nothing going for them. I'm sorry but I make amazing burgers at home and I rarely eat out but it's very easy to do. If you're going to charge that much for food, at least throw some fresh ground meat together and make it tasty. OR make disappointed customers happy so they keep coming back. You can tell it's not just beef and seasoning. When I called to let them know, all he could say was sorry. I'm sorry, but that's not how you keep buisness.

Had Basha Donair & Shawarma yesterday for the first time and will definitely be returning. My colleagues spoke highly of the place so I decided to give it a try. From the moment I walked in the Owner was extremely welcoming and helpful as I navigated the menu (there are so many great choices). I went with the beef donair combo and it was excellent - all of the ingredients were fresh, the meat was well seasoned and the portion size was big. I ate my food in the restaurant and was very pleased with the cleanliness. As I was finishing up the Owner checked in on how everything was and handed me some gift certificates to “pay it forward” and give to those in need, which I was pleased to hand to a couple of people who seemed like they could use a good meal. So, not only is the food and service great but the Owner is so thoughtful and supportive of the community. Run, don’t walk, to Basha Donair & Shawarma! You won’t regret it.
