      • 1. The basin has one single blockable submerged suction outlet and no safety vacuum release system (SVRS) or other secondary anti-entrapment device installed. The Operator stated the pump was recently replaced. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:1. Install a secondary entrapment device. Manufacturer's manual and certificate of installation need to be available for review.

      • 1. The Operator did not appear to know how to treat the swimming pool water in response to unsatisfactory water samples. The facility had written procedures for responding to unsatisfactory water samples and contamination incidents; however, the Operator was not aware of these documents. These documents were reviewed with the Operator during the inspection. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:1. Ensure all those who are in care and control of the swimming pool are trained and aware of the proper procedures for treating water in response to unsatisfactory water samples and contamination incidents.

      • 1. The Operator was not recording name of chemicals and amounts added to balance water chemistry. Water chemistry parameters were also not being tested and recorded after chemicals were added. 2. Total alkalinity was not tested and recorded in the log sheet.3. Combined chlorine was not recorded in the log sheet. 4. The following test kit reagents were passed their best before dates:- DPD reagent #1: 11/25- pH indicator: 12/25- Total alkalinity indicator: 12/255. Drain cover is not checked daily. Daily checks are not recorded in the log sheet. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:1. Ensure more details are recorded in the log sheet regarding additional chemicals being added, water chemistry after chemicals have been added, and corrective actions taken whenever there was an unsatisfactory water sample.2. Total alkalinity must be tested at least once a week and recorded in the log sheet. 3. Combined chlorine must be calculated and recorded in the log sheet.4. Please purchase new test kit reagents and ensure they are not used beyond their best before dates.5. Check the condition of the drain cover daily and record the checks in the log sheet.
