How this works
Results come from the same public health inspection records shown across the site, refreshed as each health unit publishes new reports. Each place shows its most recent inspection date and a quick verdict based on its last two inspections — open a listing for the full report.
Reading the verdict
“Safe” means neither of the last two inspections failed. “Recent issues” means the latest passed but the one before failed. “High risk” means the most recent inspection failed. An inspection fails on the health authority's own result where it publishes one, and otherwise when the inspector recorded a higher-risk finding (such as food temperatures, hand hygiene or pests) — not merely because it lists several minor items. It's a quick signal, not a rating — always check the full report.
