- Upon review, the anti-entrapment documentation indicated that each main drain is rated for a maximum flow rate of 408 GPM. The current flow rate is 425 GPM per main drain, which exceeds the cover rating. To comply with the cover rating, the flow rate through each main drain should not exceed 408 GPM. As the covers are not rated for the current flow rate either the flow rate must be lowered or covers must be replaced with a higher rating. For the mean time please ensure that the main drains are shut off and that the skimmers are set to maximum flow. Long-term solutions will be discussed, such as replacement, pressure release valve or limiting flow rate, and follow-up inspections will be conducted.It is noted that there may be discrepancy in the anti-entrapment documents. In depth analyze will be conducted in order to determine if it was documentation error.
