- 03. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
- Water sample submitted on May 25, 2026 has been reported as unsatisfactory.
- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- Water free available chlorine (FAC) was measured at 1.2 ppm, which is below the minimum required level of 2.0 ppm. - FAC must be maintained at or above 2.0 ppm at all times when ORP is below 700 mV to ensure adequate disinfection of the water. - Operator agreed to close the whirlpool immediately to allow for corrective action.
- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- Pool water CYA was measured at 66 ppm, which exceeds the maximum allowable limit of 50 ppm. CYA must be maintained below 50 ppm, with a recommended level of approximately 20 ppm. Combined chlorine products shall not be used in the chemical dosing system. CYA must be added manually to the pool water and not through the automated chlorine dosing line. Operator agreed to close the whirlpool immediately to allow for corrective action.

- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- The chlorine stabilizer (cyanuric acid, CYA) concentration in the hot tub water was measured at greater than 100 ppm, exceeding the acceptable limit.- CYA levels must be maintained below 50 ppm, with a recommended target of less than 20 ppm to ensure effective disinfection. Due to the elevated CYA concentration, the whirlpool was temporarily closed to allow for draining, refilling, and chemical rebalancing of the water.
- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- The automatic chemical controller was not working properly. It showed a pH level of 8.4, but manual tests done by both the inspector and the operator showed the pH was actually around 7.4. - The pH probe needs to be calibrated, repaired, or replaced to make sure the controller is working correctly and giving accurate results.
- 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
- No CYA (cyanuric acid) testing results were recorded in the maintenance logbook for the week.CYA testing must be done at least once per week, especially after water replacement and rebalancing.

- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- The automated chemical controller was found to be not maintained in good working condition. ORP readings are fluctuating between 550 -660 mv during the time of observation.
- 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
- The reagent for water chlorine testing is expired. - Ensure fresh reagent is ordered and available to the maintenance team. A new test kit has been ordered.

- 03. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
- Two consecutive rejected water samples have been reported.
- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- Free available chlorine in the water was tested to be 0.9ppm, lower than 2 ppm, while the ORP is below 700mv. - Operator was directed to close the whirlpool and ensure free chlorine is maintained above 2ppm during operation. It was advised that multiple tests be carried out through the day after the whirlpool is reopened. Operator manually added chlorine solution to the water during inspection.

- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- The free available chlorine in the whirlpool water was tested to be too low, <2 ppm. - The whirlpool was closed immediately after the test. Chlorine was manually added to the whirlpool water. - Ensure FAC is maintained within the required range to ensure adequate disinfection is provided.
- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- The automated chemical controller was found to be not maintained in good working condition. Specifically: The ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) set point was set too low at 500 mV, which is below recommended levels for effective disinfection. Air bubbles were observed inside the probe chamber, potentially affecting sensor accuracy.During the inspection, the operator adjusted the system and removed the air bubbles. Calibration and validation of the automated chemical controller are still required to ensure accurate and reliable operation.
- 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
- The valid reagent for water chlorine testing is not available. - Ensure the reagent is available and adequate and proper testing is conducted.

- 10. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool (Non-Critical)?
- The concentration of free available chlorine in the water is too high, 10 - 15 ppm. And the operator's test kit is not functioning properly since the testing results for chlorine are not accurate.
