- Pedicure basin without recirculation: Clean and then at a minimum intermediate-level disinfect pipe-less footbath(s) and all removable parts (if applicable) after every use. First clean the footbath with detergent, water and a scrub brush. Rinse with clean water and then disinfect with an intermediate-level disinfectant for the recommended contact time.
- Intermediate-level disinfectant: Mix 20 ml (4 tsps) of 5.25% bleach with 1 L (4 cups) of cold water. Ensure the equipment is fully immersed in the disinfectant for a minimum of 10 minutes. Prepare a fresh bleach and water solution daily.
