- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- 1. Preempt CS20 solution in use was tested and did not pass the concentration test. The operator discarded the failed solution and refilled the container with new CS20 solution from the available supply during inspection.- Ensure CS20 is tested regularly according to manufacturer’s instructions and documented in a high‑level disinfectant test log.2. Semi-critical equipment was observed to be not fully submerged in the CS20 solution.- All equipment must be fully submerged for the required contact time during high‑level disinfection.

- A Preempt RTU bottle in the reprocessing area was found to be expired. The operator stated that the bottle had been refilled from a bulk container.- Operator is to either replace or properly relabel the bottle with the correct expiry date based on the bulk container.

- Repair the area around the pedicure chair hoses.Replace the damaged ceiling tiles.Repair the wall in the laundry area.

- Coffee mugs, cut fruit, dishwashing supplies and a cutting board was observed being stored immediately beside the reprocessing sink in the laundry room. - Ensure food items, clean utensils, and dishwashing supplies are stored separately from reprocessing areas at all times.
